About CODS

The Society produces two musicals and one play each year, together with the occasional concert.  The Summer musical is performed at The Everyman Theatre in Regent Street.  The Autumn play and the Winter musical are staged at The Playhouse Theatre in Bath Road.

In 2007, we staged Kiss Me Kate and Outside Edge at The Playhouse Theatre and Crazy For You at The Everyman Theatre.

In 2006 we produced A Chorus Line in January at The Playhouse and West Side Story at The Everyman Theatre in June.  The Autumn play, House Guest, was performed at The Playhouse in September.

In 2005 we performed a song and dance revue show called Broadway 2 West End in January at The Playhouse.  This was followed by 42nd Street at The Everyman Theatre in June/July.  The play at The Playhouse in September was Charley's Aunt.

In 2004 we performed Sweet Charity at The Playhouse in January.  Our musical production at The Everyman Theatre in June was Jesus Christ Superstar and the play at The Playhouse in September was Steel Magnolias.

In 2003 our musical production at The Everyman Theatre in June was Mack & Mabel and the play at The Playhouse was The Darling Buds of May.

In 2002 we performed Annie Get Your Gun at The Everyman Theatre in May/June, Harvey at The Playhouse in September and Mr Cinders - also at The Playhouse - in November.
